A Family Rich with Tradition
Bergey's Electric was started in 1937 by our Dad, Willard Bergey. He was a very gifted person who was devoted to his family, church and business.
Growing up on the family farm, Willard enjoyed fixing things! Learning how things worked and inventing ways to motorize equipment to make doing chores easier was his passion! Electricity always fascinated him in an era when electricity was in its early stages! He was self-taught!  Before long neighbors and friends found out about Willard's gifts and abilities. As time went by, Willard needed one employee after another. Later, he was joined by three of his sons, Bob, Harold and Will. Throughout his life he passed down his knowledge and love for his work.
Today the business includes members of the third generation, Robert, Ron and Dale. Other family members also are a vital part of Bergey's Electric, Inc. |
